The Basque Resource for Advanced Light Microscopy (BRALM) of the Instituto Biofisika (IBF), a joint research center of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the Spanish Research Council (CSIC), is an open access facility offering state-of-the-art advanced light microscopy equipment and image analysis resources. Supported by the Fundación Biofísica Bizkaia (FBB) and by the Department of Education of the Basque Government, BRALM focuses on quantitative imaging of cellular events through the implementation of sophisticated imaging modes and data analysis. BRALM take part in the Bilbao Advanced Light Microscopy Node of the EuroBioImaging ERIC network.

Abberior MIRAVA Polyscope Demo
BRALM is pleased to host a demonstration of the MIRAVA Polyscope microscope by Abberior, taking place from May 5th to 9th, 2025. This advanced imaging system represents the latest in super-resolution microscopy, offering unparalleled performance in both STED and confocal imaging modes.
Throughout the week, attendees will have the opportunity to experience hands-on sessions with the instrument, guided by experts from Abberior. The demo will showcase the Polyscope's capabilities across various biological applications, highlighting its flexibility and ease of use.
